This is a very good compact emergency radio. I have an older version, more extensive, with fewer functions. Bought this as an upgrade and was very impressed with everything but the durability. My teenager knocked it off the kitchen table and broke the crank. It still works, but charging the battery is cumbersome when we don't have electricity. The old one has been dropped several times over the past 5-6 years - I didn't expect the new one to be so fragile.
