My cat LOVES this bed! But it's more than just a great bed - it saves time and money if you have a pet that needs frequent bed changes. Here's why: my cat is older, has health problems, and often unintentionally drags litter and even bits of feces into her bed. This means I have to constantly wash the bed which takes a lot of time and money as I have to hand wash it first, spray it with disinfectant, let it dry and then take it to the laundry, wash and dry it. even without other objects. And if I don't make it right away, the poor kid won't have a bed until I do everything. Instead, wash the covers and wash them about once a month (keep soiled ones in a trash bag until I'm ready to wash them). But usually, beds with removable covers come with only one cover. Then I thought - what about pillowcases? I can easily buy a few of these! But the bed he had then, and most good beds online, were just too big or the wrong shape for the pillowcases. The ones that have come out are mostly nothing more than soft carpets without raised edges or much padding. Not very pleasant at all. That's where this bed comes in. It's the perfect size to fit in a large pillowcase, but at the same time it's super fluffy and has edges that he likes to make him feel cozy (because I was thinking of literally giving him a pillow to sleep on, but then he doesn't (there would be no walls to lean his head against). The self-heating was a bonus because he loves his self-heating sleeping pad, although he prefers a bed with edges for a full night's sleep. Now he has the best of both worlds! I also bought a pack of 12 inexpensive pillowcases to cover it with and they fit perfectly. He ran to the bed as soon as I put it down and jumped up immediately because he didn't have his old bed which I haven't been able to put in the laundry yet. Much luck! Every time I see trash in my bed, I just take off the pillowcase and put on a new one. And I can wash pillowcases once a month at will. Happy cat and happy owner!
