Perfect for 1994 Honda Accord. However, the brake light warning light on the instrument panel will illuminate.

I was really looking forward to this high priced LED replacement for my 1994 Honda Accord. And after a fairly simple installation, they shone very well. Big! But. it all went downhill from there. Bad news: After installing these LED bulbs, the brake warning light (red) on the dashboard will come on when I brake for the first time (after turning the car on). And it stays on until the car is turned off. The solution proposed by the manufacturer (resistor) seemed useless to me and didn't work for me. I replaced those LED bulbs with some Osram/Sylvania Long Life OEM bulbs and everything works like clockwork now! Conclusion. If your car didn't originally have LED bulbs, be aware that changing them can be a problem. People have had issues with flashing lights and dashboard warning lights to name a few. Otherwise these bulbs seem good, nice and bright. TLDR: The seller responded to my emails the first few times within a few days and suggested that I buy resistors to install them in PARALLEL. After much deliberation, I dismissed it entirely. Why? 1. Resist solution costs extra money.2. Secondly, you have to try very hard to set it "right". (And I'm not too keen on punching holes in my car's sheet metal for resistor heatsinks.) 3. Last but not least, connecting the resistors in parallel turns off the dash brake warning light permanently, even if the LED indicators fail. . (I hope any electrical engineer can confirm my last point.) After I pointed this out to the seller and asked for confirmation of my theory, they stopped responding. I am very surprised that I found next to nothing about it on the internet. (Most talk about resistor overheating issues and the best way to mount resistors on auto panels.) After considering all of this, it was DEFINITELY NOT worth the hassle. I bought and installed new OSRAM/Sylvania OEM Long Life bulbs and I'm super happy now. Pros: This item arrived well packaged and well protected. If your car didn't originally use LED bulbs, there may be compatibility issues. The resistor suggested by the manufacturer (for signal lights) makes no sense, or at best is a smart one. (You can also cut the wire to the signal light or put black tape on it.) Other: It says "Made in China" on the box. The parts are packed in anti-static bags.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not trendy
