To be honest I didn't use all the features of this unit. I bought it mainly for its canning abilities. For someone who is used to eating large amounts of food from our garden and needs to downsize, this sounded like a good buy. I was not disappointed. This makes canning so easy, especially when it comes to small batches. I really love it and highly recommend it. If other functions are just as easy and produce the same results, I can clear out my small appliance closet. Second year of operation and no complaints!
