Our air feels dry, especially when we turn on the air conditioner. My nose and throat seemed to be dry overnight and sometimes it hurt. So I got this to balance it out. It thickens the air a bit and helps with dryness. It emits a nice cool mist. The colors are great too. I dried it on teal and red. You can also use alternative colors. There are also two settings you can use to start and stop for the same amount of time while using half the duration of the other option, which is continuous. I like both, it all depends on how humid I want the room to be. I usually cycle it on and off so it's not too much. I like it!
