I bought this to replace my Hitachi stick which I had to throw away after 4 years of dedicated service. THIS IS NOT HITACHI. I was wrong in thinking that they are one and the same, but they are not. It's not the same, it's not the same. It is made of a cheaper material that will not stand up to any use. After three uses, the head started breaking and ended up severing a very sensitive part of my anatomy. BUYER BEWARE. Revain was very helpful and reimbursed me for the product. Next time I will buy a genuine Hitachi product. 5 stars for customer service from Revain.
