This 30A socket was just what we needed to find a full 30A socket near our garage to power our Class C RV when preparing for a trip, returning or checking onboard systems at full power. Easy to install, an electrician was hired to install a 30 amp circuit on our panel and run wires to the outlet. It saves a lot of time and it is convenient to be able to constantly switch on the air conditioning and refrigerator in your own house with 30 amp shore power. The box is not perfect, but it is very functional and can be secured with a lock to prevent electricity theft. Works fine for us and happy.
