This box appears to be of very high quality with a very durable finish. I'm going to install this 30 amp outlet next to my garage door so I can plug in either my camper or my heavy duty 120 volt MIG welder. one that constantly blows 20 amp circuit breakers.

The box was easy to install. One minor point was that the ground wire supplied and attached was a bit short to allow for the plug and mounting plate to be pushed back to attach the ground wire. Just use a long piece of ground wire for easy installation.

This 50A socket is compatible with other 50A boxes. It's strong and durable. The knock out holes need to be cut with a hole saw, they are really just a template or pattern on the box, not a real knock out hole. This 50 amp outlet meets my needs and expectations.

This was a gift for a friend who has a camper van. He told me that he had never installed anything like this before and that it was very easy to install. We recently had 4 days of rain (all day and night). He said that he didn't let the rain through and that he really liked being able to block it.

Perfect for outdoor electrical projects such as welders, this box is weatherproof and has gaskets on the box to keep moisture out. I installed it on the side of the shed where my Lincoln electric welder sits. I'll post pictures later in an update. Very easy to install and excellent value for money.

The knockouts on this box weren't knockouts at all, but they weren't even lightly perforated, I had to drill holes with a dremel to get the channel hole. Attempting to punch holes will destroy the box. The rest of the box works well and does its job.

If you are looking for a way to plug a 30Amp RV into an outlet then this is the solution for you. Excellent durable construction. The device leaves plenty of room for the cord so you can close the weather cover while it's plugged in. Knockout holes allow connection to an outlet. This should do the work for you.
