Review on Dell SE198WFP: 19-Inch Flat Panel Wide Screen Monitor by Shawn Perez

I purchased this new Dell SE198WFP LCD monitor in mid 2007 as part of a Dell computer system. I recently moved to a new computer running Windows 8 (no monitor) and successfully hooked up this old monitor. So this monitor has been in use almost every day for almost six years. Now it works just as well as it did when it was new and maybe even better than when it was new because although it was connected to my old computer with a VGA cable, the new computer has an HDMI output and the monitor is now connected to an HDMI -to-DVI cable provides a fully digital display. Images are sharp and crisp (up to 1440 x 900 pixels) and colors are vibrant and accurate. I look forward to using this monitor in the future.
