This safety seat belt is great for my 10 pound Miniature Pinscher. I click one end to the car seat belt and then use the "carabiner” clip side to my dogs harness or a loop in the leash to give her 3 extra inches. She’s able to get to both windows in the back seat and to watch traffic with me as she perches her two front paws on the center console. I am unsure how this works on a large dog as it seems too tight of a length. It’s only about 30 -36inches.
