First, it's smaller than expected. Good size screen. The handle is a bit small, but that's okay. The auto range feature is really useful and works well. The continuity test beep is too quiet to be useful when there is background noise, e.g. B. when the engine or fan motor is running. The plastic tabs on the case are ridiculously bad. Don't expect the probes to stay in there as shown in the picture, not even remotely. One final note: this is an Equus sub-brand product. For those who haven't had the pleasure, the Equus is remarkable for the cheap, shoddy diagnostic tools of yesteryear. I've had a few in my life and quickly gave them up as they weren't okay. Stop/multimeter, timer, tachometer, etc. have all failed after very limited occasional use in my opinion. I usually get somewhere cheap because I need something fast and that's what it is. About the quality of port freight, if that makes sense. So, the Innova is generally of decent quality for consumer-grade instruments, but the sight of the Equus under the display (which would have warned me had I seen it beforehand) makes me think I'll eventually buy a replacement.
