The ease of use is great, now we don't have to wake up babies when they sleep at night to take their temperature or use an oral/assisted thermometer with an infant who always torments them. As for accuracy, I'll have to reconsider that, but I know that in testing it's more temperature stable than other infrared (temporal) contacts we have, and apparently the only oral contact we have. I want to compare to what the doctor's office says to see if there is a difference in prices and if it is different if it meets the claims for this product. This must be done within one month. I also like that this can be used for dimensions other than humans because it widens the range of its usefulness. To update:. I took a thermometer to the doctor's office and it was exactly the same as what they use, or within the measurement tolerance of the sensor, so very cool.
