Review on Efficient and Reliable ATD Tools 5247 Truck and Tractor Filter Pliers by Brent Peterson

I bought this to relieve the R4 AC compressor on an old Corvette. It worked great and saved me $200 by not having to buy a new compressor. It was hard enough to grab the small lip on the 5 1/2 inch compressor and rock it back and forth until it came loose. I then used this to remove a small car oil filter in a hard to reach spot. It had enough leverage to crush the filter giving me enough grip to pull it out. It probably works great with truck and tractor filters too. A built-in spring holds it open so you can easily operate it with one hand.
