I intentionally waited several months before writing this review. We've had this camera for a few months now and I love it. Yes, the lens cap is a little loose, but for me it's not critical. The batteries that came with it lasted 3 months. Now I'm going to switch to rechargeable batteries. I often take about 12 shots at a time and then turn off the camera. It took a lot out of my old camera, but this camera does a good job with the battery life. I'm not a professional photographer, but I'm very happy with the quality of the images.
