Water clarity, fish health and efficiency.
This product binds together small particles in the water column so they can be recycled and removed from the tank. I only use it occasionally but get great results every time. I don't think he changed any parameters like PH, nitrates, hardness. My fish and plants were never affected. My pH meter shows the same reading.
