I have a very small dresser in my closet , which I use to store all my electronics for charging. I also need to hook up a fan, heater and air purifier. After looking at everything I plug into the same outlet, I realized that the safest method would be to use a surge protector. Luckily this outlet extender has everything I need. The widely spaced sockets are great for the three adapters I need to plug in. It also has a 2 pin connector that works great with my ceramic heater. There are also 4 USB ports which are great for charging my iWatch, iPhone and two iPads. The surge protection is the reason I bought this unit. Thanks to its built-in resistance, it can protect my electronics from sudden power surges. The plug comes with two small plastic sticks that do an excellent job of keeping the adapter flush with the socket. It works great and even has some empty sockets which I will probably need in the future.
