I have never left a negative review, I should do it this time. I ordered this thermometer because I've been baking French macaroons and it's a useful tool when you need accurate readings. When I received this thermometer I was amazed at its tiny size. I thought I read in the description that he has a very large face at 4.35 inches. and I was right, I looked again at the description, it said 3.25 "extra large face. but ok, if it works well I'll leave it," I thought to myself. Well, there's the crazy ration. The thermometer was 50-75 degrees higher than my oven. I thought my oven was the culprit. I baked my French pasta. I totally screwed up relying on this thermometer. But I still have my doubts. I then decided to compare it to the thermometer my mother uses. And the thermometer was 20-25 degrees hotter. It is possible and I can count on it. When comparing, I placed them next to each other at the same height. So I can say that the other thermometer is more accurate. And the temperature doesn't keep rising like this thermometer. So bottom line - inaccurate description, inaccurate temperature, unreliable when you see it most often. It's a big disappointment.
