I've been using ODI Lock On on my bikes for as long as I can remember. But late last year while building a new enduro bike, I read an article on Pinkbike about these new grips. The article mostly talked about the Renthals heritage of quality manufacturing and the 'stickiness' of these grips due to the addition of Kevlar to the rubber. Both aspects turned out to be very accurate. I've used these grips for about 500 miles now paired with a Renthal Fatbar and Renthal Stem. I've never felt a better grip than this one. With gloves or bare hands you really feel glued to the bike. But when you remove your hands, no sticky residue remains even after more than 4 hours of driving. These are extremely durable grips with just enough padding to keep them from fading on very long rides. The detents on the rings hold perfectly and never slipped (I never tightened them) on wild, uncontrolled sections of descent. If you need a new grip go for these, they are the best. ugly, just say they glow in the dark.
