Poor sound and product was damaged upon arrival.

After reading other reviews I had high hopes for this little amp, but when it arrived I began to seriously question the validity of those reviews. Before I even plugged it in, there were a few red flags. At first the contents of the package appeared to have been hastily stuffed into the box. The next and much more important red flag was that the front of the device was badly worn as seen in the picture. This is far from acceptable but I decided to plug it in and see how it sounds just in case I decide to replace the item rather than refund it. I first tried using the RCA inputs as the audio source and hooked up two small 35w Sony speakers which I know work well. The sound was awful and had a very high, painful pitch that made it impossible to leave the unit on let alone play anything. I disabled the speakers and RCA inputs and tried the USB input from my PC, using headphones instead. The howling was gone, but the audio was still very quiet compared to plugging the headphones directly into the computer. So overall my experience with this device was terrible. It arrived shabby and sounds terrible. I don't know if I got a defective block or maybe even a fake. The front of the box says it's made by Nobsound but the amp itself says it's made by Duok Audio. The back of the box says it's the same company, but who knows. In any case, I would advise against buying this product.
