My new house has a concrete floor. Between all this and dancing, my right ankle hurts constantly at night. I also have plantar fasciitis on my left foot. I tried to wear my shoes indoors the whole time but found myself kicking them off as I sat down and followed the dirt. So I bought ankle braces that attached to my socks. They were great but not always comfortable. For example, they are difficult to put on in shoes, and the heel has never been out of place. These are way better. I prefer the detachable strap. I suppose I could use a bulky, sweaty, hard-to-tie bandage, but. Anyway, they're light, comfortable, offer perfect support and I'm wearing them now! Edited: So I found a problem with them. They are not fully adjustable. If I don't wear them over a thick sock, they're too loose. I could add velcro to the band myself, but it's not designed for that kind of wear and tear.
