Just up, not down. A pathetic purchase.

I am a seasoned tourist who needed to buy something new on a budget. I wanted to see what these (to me) new folding tents look like. I've practiced picking it up and taking it off at least 3 times before taking it on a hike. The first workout it was difficult to make the first crease at the lower leg joints until I realized I had to pull on the leg to dislodge it from where it was at the joint. The instructions aren't great, but the pole has an indescribable arrow decal that I ignored at first. After that it was easy until my actual hike when I packed up. The last screen fold does not give way. As a result, one of the sticks fell out of the loop. None of the plastic pieces are broken, but after hours of trying to put it back together I can't see how I can put it back on the hinge without breaking something. And then he probably won't really stay. One of the straps that attaches the main part of the tent to the raincoat also somehow snapped. I'm not rough with things - especially new things. The return period has expired and I am not satisfied with my purchase.

Pros
  • ALL-ROUND PROTECTION: PU 190T material and Oxford Ground 210D plate Ideal for moderate rain. Doors equipped with high-quality zippers can close tightly, which offers stronger resistance to harsh weather conditions.
Cons
  • I have doubts
