good design and craftsmanship

Great light, I can use it in many scenarios. It was better than I expected. The light output and controls are well designed, offering a variety of light sources and applications. The clamps work great on a regular workbench as well as any workbench or table in my workshop. I recently built a woodworking workshop in my garage and didn't realize the lighting problem when trying to work in the workshop at night. The garage light on the ceiling is bright, but my bench is against the wall and my body is blocking the light. I don't want to hang another lamp from the ceiling until the strip of light I ordered is evenly distributed on the table when I'm painting or doing tricky work that requires good lighting. I bought this horizontal lamp because it fits the top space above my desk which is about 35 inches wide. The clamp was mounted backwards to the shelf above with some modifications. At a height of 1.20 m, it can evenly illuminate the entire surface of the workplace. Another handy feature for woodworking is the adjustable color temperature of the light from 3000K to 5000K. The 5000K temperature is about the same as in sunlight when I can paint with a lamp at night. Very helpful for my work efficiency as I had very little time for woodwork on weekdays after hours. I used to only have to paint during the day. The brightness can be adjusted to daylight without adding too much heat to the room as I don't have the time or budget to add air conditioning to the store yet. The power consumption of 24W is nothing compared to a 120W garage lamp. Another cool feature I found out about recently is the smart lamp detection, which seems to be able to adjust its brightness based on the surrounding lighting conditions. At first I was a bit surprised because I thought that the lamp is not working properly or the power supply is unstable. I actually wrote to customer service trying to get a warranty while the seller was very patient in explaining this fancy auto-tuning feature. Since I'm still expanding my workplace in the shop, I'm considering buying another one for my new workbench. It would probably be better if they could make a clear window at the exit of the lamp to prevent wood dust from entering, but that's not a big deal as cleaning with compressed air is very easy. So far I really like this lamp and its usefulness.
