Review on 🔌 StarTech.com HDMI Over CAT5/CAT6 Extender - 165 ft (50m) Power Over Cable, Dual Ethernet Video/Audio Extender (ST121SHD50) by Ben Walls

This product does not work right out of the box. I was trying to use it to send an HDMI signal 90 feet to a projector. When I used the laptop to send an image, the laptop recognized the projector and resized its screen to fit the projector's 4:3 aspect ratio, but I was unable to retrieve the image. The DVD player didn't show a picture either. I used 2 CAT5E cables, tested well by the tester, CAT5E cables were connected to T568-A. The manual doesn't list A or B. I then tried to connect using 2 6 inch CAT5E cables which were configuration A then B and various HDMI cables all on top of the frame. No picture. Went back to the store an hour after work and tried again with a flat screen TV and then a different projector. Always the same result. Have to make a second 2 hour trip to solve this problem with another product. The instructions are not very detailed. I am not happy.
