Solid with a few quirks.

This board was easy to set up and has a lot of USB ports compared to the competition. My Ryzen 5600x worked right away without a BIOS update. Also, I didn't have many of the issues that other reviews have mentioned, such as: B. LAN failures. I believe the latest BIOS and driver updates fixed them. My main issue with AORUS is their software. I just want to be honest, it's not very good. RGB Fusion is finicky and the effects aren't great. Sometimes it doesn't recognize my RGB memory. The RGB settings are not stored in the BIOS, so I can only use them on Windows (by default everything turns orange on boot or on an unsupported OS). I would also like to set up fan profiles in Windows. Doing this through the BIOS is clumsy (but it works). Another issue is the placement of the PCI-E slots. I don't know why manufacturers ever put a 16x slot on top. Most decent graphics cards occupy multiple slots. Here, a two-slot card covers the next slot. The bottom slot is usable, but doesn't give the graphics card much room to breathe. I could use the bottom slot if I wanted to, although it's not 16x, but I don't think my card is powerful enough to use that kind of bandwidth. However, I would run into another problem: cables and plugs get in the way! Luckily I don't currently use any other PCI-E devices, but Gigabyte really needs to think more about board layout issues. Otherwise, it's a really great price and I'm definitely happy with it.
