Review on Flowmaster 43083 80 Muffler Aggressive by Ray Gist

Too bad this is the only Flowmaster muffler that will fit a '94 Camaro z28 without special adjustment. That being said, I have to say this isn't the best FLOWING muffler, but it sounds really good! I don't know why so many people hate this particular Flowmaster muffler. Let me just get this point straight. ALL FlowMASTERS ARE BUILT ONLY FOR SOUND, NOT FOR PERFORMANCE! I have this muffler with a Magnaflow Hi-Flow Cat and I couldn't ask for a better sound! I also have someone else's cold air intake which makes the sound a little DEEPER too! Most importantly, this muffler with No DRONE sounds extremely aggressive from the outside! This silencer absolutely roars at the WOT. I didn't notice any increase in power or gas mileage. Probably because it sounds so good, the gas mileage has decreased! Overall this muffler was great quality, no complaints. But I highly recommend using a high flow CAT with this muffler or it will be BEAUTIFUL. With Hi-Flow CAT it now drones like a Flowmaster Super 44. Very DEEP TONE but NO DRONE!
