People call them "beginner shoes" but they are very good shoes that cover a wide range of climbing. Fit in place. You have a wider toe. So if you have a normal or wide foot (Americans) you will appreciate them (Europeans must have very narrow feet from the arch). They have a snug fit that is often lacking in more expensive shoes. They're not as aggressive (sharp toes pointing down) as other shoes - that's a plus I think. I bought them the same size as my running shoes (some may need to go up a half size). I am buying another pair because I am concerned that when I need a new pair they will run out of stock.
