These shoes fit as expected. I only had one other pair/brand - La Sportiva. These shoes fit about the same. It takes time to spread them. The soles feel a bit thinner than my previous shoes. However, they work well and become more comfortable as you break them in.

Wider toe, more comfortable fit.

People call them "beginner shoes" but they are very good shoes that cover a wide range of climbing. Fit in place. You have a wider toe. So if you have a normal or wide foot (Americans) you will appreciate them (Europeans must have very narrow feet from the arch). They have a snug fit that is often lacking in more expensive shoes.
