Works very well. I connected it in such a way that the light is always on, even without an additional power supply. I just bought a 40 foot 16 gauge wire fed from a 25 amp fuse (15 in stock but it blew). I just took out the cigarette lighter and used two washers to hold it in place, it works great and looks like the original. It doesn't have a schematic, and someone posted a drawing of it which I used as a starter, which was very helpful. Anyway, so far it's pretty good.
