I finally installed a JKU lift in my garage this weekend. Watching YouTube videos helped before starting this project. Springs and dampers with this kit are stronger than OEM parts. I haven't had any problems although I would happily buy JKS stabilizer bar quick couplers right away. I have simple tools, nothing special. Jacks, jacks, standard wrenches and ratchets, crowbars. I measured the front fender flare at the bottom edge and it was exactly 36 inches; Upon completion I measured again and it was 39 1/4, so just over 2.5 inches of rise. The ride is definitely better than the stock, that was the first thing that caught my eye, apart from being bigger. My wife even mentioned that it was smoother than the stock suspension. I'm very glad I installed this lift on my jeep. Watch a YouTube video, allow 5 hours, consider JKS quick couplers for the front stabilizer bar. I was assisted by my 10 year old son who basically jacks up and down and does some minor gopher work, otherwise I did it myself in about 5 hours.
