This popcorn maker is very easy to use. You pop in 1/4 cup of popcorn, close the lid, pop in the microwave, set popcorn and you're good to go. I recommend stopping and listening, because if there's more than a few seconds between each pop, the popcorn is done. You don't want to burn it. The popcorn maker is very hot when you remove it from the microwave, so I recommend using oven mitts to remove it from the microwave. Also, when you take the lid off, it gets very hot if you don't wait a few minutes. Because I wanted to get mine while it was still hot, I had a nice big bowl with me. I also melted some butter. This made the popcorn taste like it was in expensive cinemas. With popcorn in hand, I went into the living room to watch a movie. Thank you to the company for this simple red popcorn maker to use in the microwave. That's great!
