Review on Magictec Waterproof Lighting Decoration Backyard by Heather Lawson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good value for money.

I have a set of 110 volt AC LED lights but wanted to use the solar version for camping to cover the EZ-UP cover. I looked at a few that were in the $30-$40 range. They had 15 LEDs. Then I saw the Magictec version for less than $15. It has 3 fewer LEDs, but is at least half the price. I also liked the idea of anchoring the solar panel to the ground with the included stand or attaching it to an object with the included spring clip. It would be much more convenient to attach it to an awning when camping. When I first got the light I tried turning it on but nothing worked. Thought the battery needed charging. Then I remembered someone mentioned it had a built in light detector, so I went into a dark room and turned it on. It lit up right away. All the lightbulbs were lit. I haven't estimated how long they'll stay. I have to leave the solar panel for at least 4-5 hours. It has multiple modes but I prefer the full light mode. It is ideal for holidaymakers who want some light under the canopy in the evenings. You can't beat the price.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
