Glad I have this. Who would want a stationary object drilled into their desk? Not me. I am very happy that I received it. Keep in mind that this is only a deterrent to theft. If you live in an apartment, you probably have a cheap lock. If so, I can come and go to you in a matter of seconds even if you don't know about it. When laptop thieves hit the area, they know what to do. Instead of spending $160 on a secure lock, buy an alarm for a few dollars more. It doesn't matter in which area you live. Get a simple secure alarm for that. The launch costs $225. I love it. Remember you need to have something to attach it to e.g. B. some cinder blocks,
