I had a 27" LG 4K monitor at home. With its 168 PPI, it offers crisp text resolution. But 27" is too small to encrypt and open technical documents at the same time. At work, I have a 34" Monitor used LG 3440-1440 which doesn't have the crisp/sharp text resolution compared to a 27" 4K monitor. Screen. However, its extra screen real estate makes it very useful for displaying multiple screens at the same time. The LG 34BK95U-W combines best of both worlds. However, there are some issues setting up the Thunderbolt 3 cable and I still can't get it to work with a cable with my Macbook Pro 2018. The solution I've found so far to get it working with 5k-2k resolution to work : Connect displayport to thunder 3 cable and connect thunder 3 to charging thunder 3. This setup requires two cables, not ideal but they will do the trick a work. When the monitor is running, text resolution, video resolution, and color accuracy are really good. Another missing feature is that the screen should be curved. For now I'm sticking with it because there's nothing else in this price range that can offer the features I'm looking for (ultrawide + 4k-like text resolution).
