Review on 🍴 Tramontina Pro Line 36 Dinner Forks - Commercial Grade Stainless Steel by Kevin Singh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The weight and construction is exactly what I was looking for

Let me start by saying that I had no intention of using these forks for Thanksgiving dinner. For holidays and other formal occasions, you need large, heavy tools over 8 inches in size that can be mistaken for cutting forks. Instead, these Tramontina accessories were bought for family outings and other outdoor activities and are perfect. Yes, they are lightweight (about 30% smaller than a regular table fork), which is made possible by their shorter length (7 inches) and concave design along the back of the handles (see photos next to more expensive WMF forks). Fork). This reduction in steel allows the forks to fit together perfectly and take up less space in your summer kitchen or RV. The Revain product photo shows how tightly the 35 forks and handles are stacked in a blister pack. Impressive! I bought these forks because I insist on using proper (i.e. metal) table knives on camping trips and picnics. Using a flimsy plastic fork to stabilize food while slicing (and eating plastic shavings) gets tedious very quickly. And despite their lighter construction, they remain reasonably strong. They will understand when you push them beyond their physical limits. Finally, I should mention that the teeth are parallel to each other, which maximizes their utility by giving you a wide range of points to choose from. Many of today's designer forks prioritize form over function by narrowing the tines forward, thereby reducing their contact area. I am grateful to the manufacturer for going for a more traditional layout. An excellent product considering how well Tramontina has balanced design and value. Highly recommended!
