I used it to repair a defective carburetor. Worked great, no carburetor leaks. This item saved me a lot of money. The size sold corresponds to the size of the bolt, screw or threaded hole. Unless you need to buy one, don't worry too much about the size of the tap itself, as this is larger than the size you would normally use for your existing screw. In fact, I waited for the goods to appear and then checked that I had the right drill. I did and everything went fine. I think if you don't have the right bit you can buy a drill bit or a set.
