Works great easy to install saved me from buying a new muffler

Used to repair 2 stripped threaded holes on an FMF muffler. Worked great. Drilled them out with a 13/64" drill bit (as shown), screwed in the provided tap (using this Vermont American 21916 wrench with 0 to 1/4" T-handle) and installed the spiral coil with the provided one Tool and added some Loctite 37421 271 Heavy Duty Red Threadlocker to prevent the coiled spool from falling out. Works as it should.

I used it to repair a defective carburetor. Worked great, no carburetor leaks. This item saved me a lot of money. The size sold corresponds to the size of the bolt, screw or threaded hole. Unless you need to buy one, don't worry too much about the size of the tap itself, as this is larger than the size you would normally use for your existing screw. Quick Thread Repair

I've never done a thread repair like this but when it came to potentially losing a carbon fiber bike fork to a stripped bolt hole I thought I'd give it a try. I was able to complete the repair in about 15-20 minutes and saved myself a few hundred dollars.
