Review on Helicoil 5546-5 M5 x 0.8 Metric Coarse Thread Repair Kit: Comprehensive Solution for Metic Coarse Threads by Shalom Germann

Used to repair 2 stripped threaded holes on an FMF muffler. Worked great. Drilled them out with a 13/64" drill bit (as shown), screwed in the provided tap (using this Vermont American 21916 wrench with 0 to 1/4" T-handle) and installed the spiral coil with the provided one Tool and added some Loctite 37421 271 Heavy Duty Red Threadlocker to prevent the coiled spool from falling out. This was my first time making a spiral and it was surprisingly easy. And the new screws went in smoothly with no problems. Highly recommended!
