No surprises anyway! Easy to install and works as it should. Haven't ridden it yet, but it does exactly as advertised. it flashes three times and then stays on! Fabulous! My bike is new but basic. This means there are no lamp failure and low voltage warnings. I will update for durability if needed. The nice thing is that since they are a pair I have a spare if I need it! To update! Something horrible! As I said, tested on a non-working bike and worked perfectly. However, and it's a big one! The strobe and brake light function is intermittent at best when the bike is running! It looks like a bad connection. I took the bulb out and cleaned and rubbed the terminals in hopes that would fix the problem and this is only temporary. Soon it started flickering again when braking. I will try and update the strobe side resistor. Unfortunately, I no longer have a second one as a replacement or even the original bulb because they were stolen from my bicycle tool bag. Who steals lightbulbs!
