Lightweight and portable! Works great with my Samsung Note 9

The projector was priced at $99 when I checked it out but there was a $30 coupon on sale at the time so I thought it was a great deal! Specifications I've been told to look out for native resolutions when looking for a projector and this projector from Elephas is 800*480p. There are other models with better numbers, but reading the reviews on this projector, it seemed to me that this isn't really the case. is of great importance if you intend to use only the private room. So I just went ahead and bought this. It arrived earlier than I expected so I was very excited. It was supposed to arrive on Monday, but Revain said it would arrive earlier on Saturday. Here's what I like about this projector: 1. It's lightweight and portable. If you're short on space or are constantly on the move, this is a good alternative to a large flat screen TV. One thing to note, while it's still visible when I project it during the day (see attached photos), it's clearly not as clear compared to using it on a floor or in a completely dark room.2. Although its performance is average compared to other high-end projectors, it serves its purpose of projecting the show onto my large blank wall in my bedroom. The picture is clear and bright enough for me.3. It has Wi-Fi capabilities, which means I can connect my phone to it wirelessly, if I get it right. I've read from other reviews that they can't stream streaming sites like Netflix and Hulu from a phone and would recommend getting a Fire Stick or Roku remote. The product description even states that the mirror display does not support protected video playback for copyright reasons. However, I could do it with my cell phone. I have a Samsung Note 9 and I can stream Netflix from my phone using Smart View. I also bought an HDMI to USB-C cable, just in case, and when I used it, it activated Samsung DeX, which was a pleasant surprise. Nintendo Switch also fits perfectly with this projector (see attached photos).5. It has a universal socket for tripod screws, so it was very easy for me to attach this projector to my camera tripod (see attached photos).6. I was also able to connect my laptop to the projector using an HDMI to USB-C cable. Here are a few shortcomings I found: 1. The power cord is too short for me, but this can easily be remedied with an extension cord.2. If you have sound quality, the projector's speaker is not the best. I solve this by connecting audio from my phone to a Bluetooth speaker while streaming the show to the projector. If you connect the device with a cable, the sound comes out of the projector. I think there are AUX and AV ports that you can connect to the projector for better sound.3. Fan noise can be loud and annoying for some. Notes: 1. I only had to wirelessly connect my phone once, and after my phone connected to the projector, I was able to reconnect my phone to my home wifi. I didn't have to use my data to watch the show by streaming it to the projector.2. You may need a fast Wi-Fi connection. There was some lag with the wireless connection, but it's not particularly noticeable to me. I find it more stable when I connect the device directly with the cable. It is also possible to insert an SD card or an external hard drive.3. The projector remote control requires 2 AAA batteries. Overall I am happy with my purchase and will be recommending it to my friends and family! I will try to give an update in 3 months or so.
