Cats declined comment - they HATE carriers. That means a trip to the vet. They were just zipped together and found safely under the bed. The cats refused to put this review from a human perspective. We were looking for something that would be simpler could in case you need to evacuate the house with a cat for a while it does the job the human lining makes it a decent longer 'carry' if you need to walk or run a bit the cat in your backpack you has all the visibility and air that a regular "handle" carry case has, while holding the cat if you decide to open the top and the to let the cat look around. But it says more about our cat's ability to slip off or break off the collar when feeling trapped and in "escape" mode. So this should not detract from the design of this medium. I'm just not sure if I'll use it. Only 4 stars? Once per STRONG plasticizer odor upon opening the package. This van had to be collected and then left on the porch to air out for a good 48 hours to get rid of the smell. Don't expect to just open the package and go. plan ahead.
