I just received this bag so I can't speak to the longevity of the build.However, upon first inspection there are a few things I noticed that I wish I had paid closer attention to in the product photos.First, the color is off. I ordered the black bag in large. The color is more of an extremely deep navy blue instead of black. This is contrasted easily on the bag by comparing the canvas to the straps.Second, the zippers on this bag only have single pulls and the closed position is on the left. While mostly a minor inconvenience, I'm right handed and opening the bag facing me seems a bit awkward.I understand the bag isn't incredibly wide, so double pulls likely would be difficult to fit on the bag. However, I'm used to bags with double pulls so that you can open and close the bag either direction.Third, the strap has zero shoulder padding and it is not removable. The padding is a bigger deal. However, the fact it isn't removable less so. Removable straps are nice to quickly fix twists, though.Fourth, the flap is hook & loop. While this is fine when the bag is new, as it ages this will be less and less functional.Snap buttons or magnets would have been a bit nicer.All that said, it's obvious when handling this bag that it's build quality is very good. The stitching is good, the bag feels strong. There's a nice amount of room as well. The materials it's made from seem of good quality and they feel good and soft to the touch.The exception to this is the hardware on the bag. It has a black chrome coating on it that looks out of place on the aesthetics of the bag and, frankly, both looks a feels a bit cheap. But it's a $30 bag so I'm okay with that.Nitpicking aside. All in all, this seems like a pretty good bag for the money.
