This bag in Large really will accommodate the new 13" MacBook Air laptop.Okay, so it's snug, that's true, but it fits. I was looking for a vertical crossbody bag, and one as small as possible, to hold my new 13" MacBook Air, and this one works beautifully. I'd rather the computer's delicate electronics be held snugly in place anyhow, rather than flopping around inside a larger bag where a bump might cause it to absorb more shock.I won't go into everything else I think it could hold–which, knowing me, I'll eventually figure out once I start to pop a few seams–but the seller's photos and video do a great job of making that clear, and I'll just add that I'm also able to fit in the case for my noise-canceling headphones, my iPhone, a Moleskine journal, and all the cables I normally use, with room to spare. I'm sure it could also accommodate my Kindle reader and some snacks.I'm a writer and often work on the train as I move around the city, so it's important to me to be able to stash and unstash my laptop to make the most of the butt-time. Now that this snug-fitting bag has stretched out a bit (a real advantage of canvas over leather or synthetic materials), I'm able to get my computer in and out so I can get to work quickly. To that point, I have a suggestion for the seller: Apple stores don't offer enough good bags for carrying this laptop, and I actually wonder if Apple might offer the XINCADA bag if they knew it was an option. The 13" MacBook Air actually measures 8.36 inches by 11.97 inches, so I bet just a half-inch added to its interior dimensions (that is, to both height and width) would make it feel like a custom fit.As it is, though, you could probably stretch yours out a little to make it fit like mine does now. Of course, I'm betting the seller wouldn't recommend it, and it might actually void the warranty, but with that said, here's what you might be able to do: Cut a piece of 1/8" or 1/4" plywood from the hardware store to just a little larger than your laptop. Since canvas stretches when wet, you could soak the backside of the bag (where the laptop rides), insert the plywood, and let it dry. Also, since plywood swells a little when wet, you could soak that down, too, in order to get a tiny bit more stretch. Just sayin'.I would't deduct a star for this minor point, but I will say I could foresee myself loading up the bag enough to where the fabric strap might dig into my shoulder, so I also ordered this strap pad:Replacement Shoulder Pad & Strap for Camera,Backpack,Messenger,Laptop,Guitar,Bag - Adjustable Shoulder Pads
