I installed this Jacuzzi air conditioner in my large upstairs art studio. My studio is a huge room, about 850 square meters. In my house, too, the sun shines heavily through the many large windows, and since the heat is always rising, the hot and humid summer weather makes work unbearable and impossible for me. I tried it for the first time yesterday; The temperature was in the mid 1990's and the humidity was stifling. I turned on this air conditioner early in the morning before hitting the main heater and worked with it all day. It more than did the job for me. I'm not one of those people who have to endure the cold. Just enough to bring down the suffocating humidity and bring the temperature down to a comfortable level. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this air conditioner works. The smaller unit I bought last year wasn't enough, but this hot tub did the job. I did careful research before purchasing this device. Certain criteria that were important to me in an air conditioner; I wanted a compact size that could be easily removed and carried down for the winter, as well as weight, quality construction and features. For the good job it does, this hot tub is a solid choice. I bought a bracket, a support bracket because I had a vision of the block falling two stories and also to make sure the window frame wasn't under any load. It weighs around 79 pounds and is remarkably small for such a powerful device. Installation was quick, just like my son's. Oh what would a good son do for a mother! But seriously, he said the device was easy to install. Its compact size isn't much larger than the model I've used before, and it didn't even come close to cooling a large room. It was a bit noisy when I first turned it on, turning on and off loudly, but within a minute or less it was up and running with minimal noise. And I love the fact that Revain shipped it to my country home so I didn't have to lug it in a cart, pack it in my SUV, and then unload it when I got home. I will update the information after using this conditioner over the summer to let you know if I am happy with my purchase.
