NON RETURNABLE! for Vision

When the glasses arrived my wife tried them on and didn't care if the glasses fit or worked. When I requested a refund, was I told the glasses were non-refundable? This is the first time I get such an answer. Perhaps this fact should be highlighted in bold on the offer page or in the product description.
