Firstly, the lunch compartment in this bag seems to insulate food perfectly (especially cold food as I've only used it for that so can't say anything about hot food) and kept food approx 4 hours cold/frozen with a small ice pack. The design of the bag is stylish and minimalistic. The main compartment has a laptop pocket, a small pocket just in front and two stretch pockets on the inside that match those on the outside of the bag. Mind you, I wouldn't choose this bag, especially if you're taller and/or tall. I'm a male of average height (5"10") and build but I have to fully undo the straps and the bag still feels a bit small. the main compartment of the bag halving the functional space in the main compartment of the bag, or if you don't want it, the same problem occurs with the lunch compartment, normally that wouldn't be a problem, but the bag only has one main compartment, except for a small hidden pocket that located in the lower back/buttocks. The lack of inner pockets and/or additional compartments also limits the organizational options. If these issues don't bother you, this is a compact, durable, and most importantly, functional bag. Personally, I'll be returning this and getting something else.
