It seems to be one of the few devices of this type that delivers enough power to charge a laptop in normal speed mode. It's also cheaper than competing products I've researched. It's well made, but the packaging isn't as elaborate as Anker's. I didn't do a scientific comparison, but it was able to charge a laptop while in use about as fast as an OEM unit. I use mine with the current generation Yoga 920. Like the OEM charger, it will get warm when charging, but maybe not as much as the factory charger. blue light to keep you up at night. I use it with an Anker USB-C to USB-C cable. Be careful not to connect the USB-C to USB-C cable to your phone. Use the USB-A ports to charge your phone. I saw a YouTube video showing that this type of device (not Cable Matters) can apply a surge to a phone. Don't risk your expensive smartphone.
