Very nice stuff, especially for the price. Is it fine jewelry? Oh no. But it's *much* better than most of what I see in gift shops. It doesn't hang exactly as shown in the picture - the two points it hangs from are not aligned here in the picture. But it looks even better since it's hanging at an angle that makes the butterfly look like it's flying. It came in a cute velvet jewelery box - perfect as a gift. The finish is even, with no rough joints. It doesn't look like crappy metal. The crystal part is very bright and beautifully faceted. The chain is good too. I bought this for my 8.5 year old daughter's Easter basket and I think she will love it. A note: if you are buying this as a gift, take a pair of small nail scissors and open the box before gifting. The hanging part is tightly wrapped in thick plastic to avoid damage or entanglement during transportation. You will need scissors to remove.
