Review on beyerdynamic DT1770 Pro Studio Headphone, DT1770 PRO (DT1770 PRO) by Darrell Sharp

These Beyerdynamic DT 1770 Pro headphones are amazing. The processing quality is excellent. The sound is super detailed and precise. The picture is just OMG. The soundstage is HUGE, probably the best soundstage of any closed headphone and even open headphone. But not only wide and deep, but also ultra-precise. If you buy these headphones, try the song RedLine OST Europass on YouTube. Man, at the end of the song, you FEEL the sound from up front, right in front of you, like speakers are in front of you. Heights never go too far. The mids are clean and crystal clear. The sound you get from these headphones is amazing. The bass is powerful but tight and controlled. Just perfect. For me these are the perfect headphones because they have all these features and a closed housing. The insulation with velor pads is amazing. I think leather covers would be even better, but I prefer velor as it offers the best soundstage and more than enough insulation. man finally! I say in conclusion because I've ordered these three times, the first two times there were clear indications on the headphones that they weren't brand new, or at least the box was really dented. Just perfect this time, brand new with no damage. I'm telling you, these headphones are amazing. Oh oh, I almost forgot the most important thing, the comfort is unbelievable. The clamping force is a bit high, but the velor pads make it very, very comfortable. Typically beyerdynamic. Folks, if you're looking for headphones that can be your one-stop headphones for everything: gaming, listening to music, watching movies, professional work, then this is the one for you. I don't think you can find all these qualities in other headphones at the same time. I just love it. These are the last headphones I will buy in a long time. Hope that helps. UPDATE: I'm reducing my rating from 5 stars to 3 because my first and second pair broke after some use. The first and second pair had distortion and a very audible ringing when playing heavy bass music. I have a few more headphones, much cheaper than these, and they don't ring or distort when playing heavy bass music. Even after some listening and careful listening. I think there is very little difference between these $500 headphones and my other $200 pair, so I ended up with these headphones. This is my 4th order, I didn't even open the first 2 orders because they are clearly marked not brand new. The box also arrived badly crumpled. And now the two pairs I tried have this driver problem. I'm done but when it works it's just the best sound I've ever heard. Update: Beyerdynamic has fixed issues with the latest batch of DT 1770 Pro. The one I received recently is AWESOME. Even the pads look newer and better. I think even the build quality has improved. I'm updating this rating back to 5 stars. After listening to these headphones repeatedly, the sound is sooooo good.
