Review on 🚗 Secondary Air Pump for BMW E46 3-Series 325i 323i 328i 330i M52 M54 2.5L 2.8L 3.0L 1999-2006 Replaces 11727553056 by Kyle Rodman

When the pump arrived it looked like it would be replaced quickly but. I removed the old one, removed the rubber mounts and attempted to install them on the new pump. The 5 star rating went down. The rubber mounts are screwed in only halfway, and when I tried to turn them with a wrench, the metal separated from the rubber on the mount. I tried all the screw holes and none of the three were drilled far enough for the rubber mounting screw to screw in flush. I drilled out the extra plastic and the screw still wouldn't sit flush. There were still 3 full threads from flush to all 3 holes. I found the thread size of the screws and drilled 3 holes. After cutting the holes, the studs will be flush. So that 10 minute job turned into 1 1/2 hours. I wouldn't recommend this pump unless you're willing to rework the simplest parts. The pump works, hence 3 stars, not 1.
