Inexpensive compared to dealerships and auto parts stores. Bought for $150. Dealers and auto parts stores charged $275 plus. Part came and worked. Smog test passed.

The dealer wanted $398 for the part and $90 for the install. Bought it here for $170, watched the installation video on YouTube and it was done in 30 minutes. Also install a new hose and connecting bolts for another $28. The product works and I saved a lot of money.

I was very skeptical about this pump as it's half the price of the original BMW pump. It worked with no problems and after a month and 1500 miles it's working great. Fixed my check engine light. There is a chance that the small rubber pump mounts will be significantly deformed or torn apart when you remove the old pump. You may want to order new ones when purchasing. For now I've reused the old warped ones. My car is a 2001 325i with an M54 manual transmission.

When the pump arrived it looked like it would be replaced quickly but. I removed the old one, removed the rubber mounts and attempted to install them on the new pump. The 5 star rating went down. The rubber mounts are screwed in only halfway, and when I tried to turn them with a wrench, the metal separated from the rubber on the mount. I tried all the screw holes and none of the three were drilled far enough for the rubber mounting screw to screw in flush. I drilled out the extra plastic and…
